Saying you Will Attend an Event
When you are invited to an event, you will receive an email notification, which includes a direct link to the event.
From the event page, select ‘I’m going’ from the dropdown menu on the right.
If your host has enabled the ‘Maybe’ option, you can select this to receive notifications, but without reserving a spot.
Now the organizer knows you are going, you will receive all the notifications about this event.
If you have lost the email invitation, you can still find the event by searching in your Upcoming Events.
Going onto the Waitlist
If the event you want to attend is already full, but the waitlist is enabled, you can choose to go onto the waitlist.
If a spot becomes free and you are approved, you will receive an email notification to let you know you are registered for the event.
Sharing the Event
Once you have said you are going, you will see a confirmation message and will be asked if you want to share the event (provided the option to invite guests is enabled in the event settings). You have a number of share options; email, social media, or a shareable link.
Saving the Event to your Calendar
The confirmation message also gives you the opportunity to save the event to your calendar. Choose from the different options on the dropdown to add to your personal calendar.
For more detail on syncing events to your calendar, see the article Your Calendar.
Saying You Will not Attend
If you cannot attend the event, you can let the organizer know by selecting ‘Not going’ at any time before the event.
This removes you from the list of attendees and you will not receive any more email notifications about the event.
